Text to Pitch-Class Set Calculator – A Max/MSP based tool that allows the user derive pitch collections from names and words. A number of tools for analysis and modulation are provided.
Just-Intonation
Just-Ratio Cents Calculator – A web hosted calculator that returns the cent value for any just-intonation ratio. It is very bare bones HTML with a little JavaScript to calculate the result.
Miscellaneous
Randomly Order a List – A web hosted sorting tool to return a random permutation of any input list. It is useful for producing lists of names to call on students. I have found that students are more receptive to being cold-called by some digital randomness than they are to whimsy.
